Sure, there are tons of people that just quit once content is done, or are really into ladder score or are collecting items. Even for non-pvpers, the potential is still a reason to improve your char. So yeah, once you finish the game content, or once it feels boring and repetitive. faster? Why don't I just go to an easier level and then it will be faster? No new content either way, so what's the difference? Why am I doing this same thing over and over so I can do the same thing over and over. This was highlighted by the repetitive rifting. the end game feels pointless and circular. It's not a perfect analogy but what i'm getting at is that you pve 99% of the game but if you don't have that 1% of pvp as a motivator SEPARATE from the pve. It's mostly just the idea that they could go really fast. Yet they still want to improve it and make it faster. 99% of people who have a nice car don't actually race, or even drive it much faster than the speed limit.
It doesn't matter if you don't ever intwnd to pvp, it's important that you could if you wanted to. People that don't like pvp don't understand this why it's still very much needed. if they don't have robust pvp with balanced classes I guarantee you, it will be a lesser game for it.
